The Polar and Environmental Geochemistry Lab is led by Dr. Melisa A. Diaz, a Provost's Early Career Scholar Assistant Professor and CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholar at The Ohio State University. We are an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team specializing in using geochemical tools to explore salt and nutrient cycling, surficial processes, climate impacts, and habitability for icy landscapes on Earth and planetary bodies in our system, as well as in urban environments.
